Home » Laser hair removal: How it works
Laser hair removal is a rapid hair removal procedure which works by using a concentrated light source (the laser) to damage unwanted hair, retarding regrowth. The Laser is designed such that the skin around the hair does not absorb the laser and therefore does not heat or damage the skin.
Destroying the root of the hair is the ultimate goal of laser hair removal, and how hairs are prevented from regrowing. It might require a number of sessions to achieve full hair removal coverage; however once full removal has been achieved, it can be years before the hair will start to regrow.
